Summer June 30

Well a big thank you to Mario, Bennett, Garrett, Justin, Katie and Matt who came in to help with the end of the move.  Mario is working on revitalizing the computers including an old pentium type.  The frogs are in and eating and the Slytherin banner is up.
We had a serendipitous adventure today.  We bought tickets to the U.S. Gymnastic Team Trials which were at the HP Pavilion (read Shark Tank for the locals).  Today's event was the Men's finals.  It is quite amazing to see this young men perform with strength and agility.  The 2 young men who came in first and second had traded the lead and with the last event the former leader, who had fallen to second, reclaimed his lead.  Both are going to London.  It was amazing to think that this is what they had both worked so hard for (as had all the others) and we were watching them realize their dream.  One of them was tearing up.  It was quite emotional.  What a great once in a life time opportunity to be able to share as a family.
I have been interviewing a neighbor this week.  His name is John Garity and he is a World War II Veteran who flew P47's in Europe.  His anecdotes are fascinating.  I have been taking notes and hope to put it all down in print when we are finished.
I see that our planned trip to the midwest to attend my nephews wedding will also be attended by high temperatures.  There is a reason we love California.  We are planning a trip from St Louis to Nashville to Lexington to Louisville to Cincinnati (where the wedding is).  We leave on the 7th and we will be back on the 15th.
So if you have been patiently waiting for me to finish this ramble to find out about a game day, here is what I have in mind.  Sometime the week after I get back so between the 16th and the 20th.  It has been requested that we play Aerodrome 2 so that is what is planned for now.
