Miniatures Club - Today is one on one battles. Next week I have to cancel the club because I will be attending my daughter's masters degree ceremony. The following week we will be playing bigger games based on the results of (maybe)this weeks games.
I found out last night that my daughter is being bullied by her dorm room mate. This is disturbing to me as a dad.

Miniatures Club - Last meeting was okay. I hope you learned how to play Rocketmen. This week we will be playing one on one battles and the following week we will be playing a mini campaign tournament format. Anyone interested in designing and building their own fleet with their own flavor test, see me for guide lines. We are keeping it in the solar system so no galaxies far far away. Think Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon.

A few years ago I challenged students to build their own Rocketmen ships. I made 2 new races. I, unfortunately put these ships away in a safe place. I will let you know when I find them.
Tomorrow is the "end of the year diagnostic test". Please do not confuse this with "we are finished and have nothing left to learn in 8th grade science"
