Spent a good portion of last night trying to get our cat out of a tree 40 feet up.  In the Santa Cruz Mountains, a cat out all night can be food for other critters.  Actually, I can be food for some of those same critters.  He finally got down on his own about 3AM.  Boy am I tired.

One of our school copy machines is about to hit the 5 million copy mark.  It is failing and a new one is not on the horizon.  Our other machine has pieces breaking off and is due to be replaced in a few weeks.  Until then, copying, and, therefore classwork, is hit or miss.

I learned today the PowerSchool takes the last 5 LLL grades and weights those grades for an LLL grade.  This means that it would not be necessary to make up missing work as it would not count.  I will be investigating this in the upcoming weeks and I will keep you posted.
And speaking of things that are difficult to digest, today was National Kale Day.
