Period 2 did not get to do this as we had the annual code red lock down drill.  All the students performed marvelously.  Still, our best option is to run away if it is clear.  All of my classes made it off campus in less than a minute when we practiced the first week of school.

Miniatures Club will start to meet on Thursday after school for painting and modeling so Fridays can be exclusively gaming.  We will start with painting figures for a game about the Wars of South American Liberation we will play in the Spring (or earlier).  We will start with the 4 color concept.

Whoa.  Just made it.  It was a great weekend.  There was the Robotics Class, a Stanford football game, a wonderful Sunday BBQ followed by dinner at some friends headed to Tanzania to work with missionaries in western Tanzania.

If you get the chance to go on the Washington D. C. trip you will visit Newseum, an interactive museum dedicated to the news.  In a place of prominence is one of the radio tours from the top of the World Trade Center.  It was chilling.  None of the children in my classes were alive when September 11th became 9/11.  Lets be vigilante and pray that something like that never enters their lives.

Almost hit a pedestrian in the cross walk at Mango and Remington.  At certain times of the day there is a fierce glare that obscures pedestrians.  The fellow had not pushed the walk button which lights the lights in the street.  Please students, push the button.  The lights will not physically stop the cars but it gives them a better chance of seeing you.  Oh, the fellow flipped me off.
