The assignment will not count for or against the student. A "Z" means that the student has a Zero. I have no record of the student doing the assignment. A "blank" means that I have not entered the assignment into the system yet. It is a place holder. The blank does not count for or against the student like an excused assignment but it will be filled in in the future.
