We have collected 164 lbs of candy so far. The first shipment will be leaving the U.S. tomorrow and will take about 5 days to reach soldiers.

Agenda November 3
1 HW Chapter 4.3, 4.4, and 4.5 Directed Reading due Thursday Nov 10. No Target Reading
We have collected 100 lbs of Candy for Adopt a Chaplain as of today. I was given easily another 20 plus pounds this morning. We are well on the way to the 200 lb goal. It is a little convicting to weigh these using a bathroom scale because I have to hold the bags, get a weight, set the bags down, get a weight (mine) and subtract. I wish I had a smaller number to subtract.
The Pirates tournament is going to be slowed to allow training 6th Graders

You can pick up poster paper for the Element Project after school any day this week. Art supplies will be available in class on Thursday or Friday.
Element Project note. Pick that is easy to write about. I do not recommend and element above 92. The 2 elements after Tungsten (W) would be hard too.

2 Pass out construction paper if time. This will be available daily after school to minimize damage to the paper.
